After that, a sample from mass production of anesthesia gas produced by Darmangaz, was delivered to the laboratory of MOHME for doing laboratorial and clinical tests. After passing clinical tests, its distribution permission was issued by MOHME. Consequently its distribution to all clinics throughout Iran was started.

   It should be mentioned that this project in terms of speed in implementation, superior techniques, higher production quality than U.S. pharmacopoeia standard and foreign exchange saving, was recognized as the best project by Ministry of Industries. Thus it leaved a great and valuable honor for the managers of Darmangaz Company.

   Finally, with respect to production of anesthesia gas inside the country (Iran) and either its conformity with global standards based on annually tests and conformation by Socsil Company in Switzerland, or periodically tests of laboratory of MOHME of Iran, the motivation of using this product has been created for anesthetists as the best, simplest and most confident drug. Consequently, because of population growth and the assurance of anesthetists and clinics about the quality of anesthesia gas produced by Darmangaz Company, the consumption of anesthesia gas has increased yearly.

   In year 1991 (1370 A.H) with respect to long-term plans of Ministry Of Health, care and Medical Education (MOHME) for development of clinics and consequently increase of need to this product, and with awareness and farsightedness of board directors, development plan of anesthesia gas was presented to MOHME. This plan was favored and approved by MOHME and its permission was issued. Therefore, about three million dollars was invested in purchasing new machinery. As soon as they were imported, whit continuous efforts of personnel, their installation finished in year 1993 (1372 A.H). After installation and set-up of new equipment, renovation of old machinery started. Hence with these tow groups of machinery, the production capacity of anesthesia gas (N2O) increased to 2000 tons per year which this capacity is three times the need of Iran.

   It should be mentioned that from the beginning of production up to now there has been no interruption and will be not in production of anesthesia gas (N2O) due to having three plants equipped by most advanced technology. This company is the greatest producer of anesthesia gas in Middle East.

   In year 1996 (1375 A.H) after ensuring about full supply of anesthesia gas needed by Iran, Company managers started to research about Pain Relief Gas (mixture of 50% O2 and 50% N2O). For this reason, after excessive considerations, the company sent its experts to England for gaining necessary information and technical knowledge in connection with production of pain relief gas. Also simultaneously, the company sent some anesthesia professors of Iran medical universities to England hospitals for identification and learning the applications of this mixed gas. After passing necessary training and learning medical tests, this company with permission of MOHME took actions to import a sample of this mixed gas from abroad. This sample had been made by BOC Company in England. The trade name of this gas which is produced by BOC is ENTONOX. Finally in year 1997 (1376 A.H), after successful usage of this gas in Iran hospitals on the fields of natural painless childbirth and burn dressing, the company succeeded in obtaining the permission of establishment of a unit for producing pain relief gas (mixture of 50% O2 and 50% N2O) from MOHME and Ministry of Industries.

   From 1997(1376 A.H) the company by continuous efforts of its managers, was investing and preparing equipment for mass production of pain relief gas (mixture of 50% O2 and 50% N2O). Until year 2001 (1380 A.H) these efforts resulted and in the beginning of year 2002, Ministry of Industries issued the operation permission in the name of Darmangaz Company for production of 520000 m3 of pain relief gas.

   From year 2002 (1381 A.H) in order to introduction of its new product, pain relief gas (mixture of 50% O2 and 50% N2O), to obstetricians, anesthetists and midwives and training the manner of use, Darmangaz Company held some one-day seminars in medical universities of Tehran, Beheshti, Esfahan, Tabriz, Mashhad, Shiraz, Ahwaz, Uroumieh, Hamedan, Kermanshah, Ilam, Rasht, Yazd, Rafsanjan And Yasooj. Luckily these seminars were warmly welcomed and supported by MOHME and medical universities. For this reason MOHME allocated some privileges for contributors and speakers of these seminars. After successful holding of these seminars, clinics in Tehran and other cities of Iran started to use pain relief gas in childbirth. Now in most hospitals of Iran pain relief gas produced by Darmangaz Company is used in natural painless childbirth.

   It is hoped that these petty services provided by Darmangaz company managers would have a noticeable effect on medical and economic matters of Islamic Republic of Iran. Also it is hoped that the name of Darmangaz Company would be immoral all the time as the first producer of anesthesia gas (N2O) approved according to global standards, and pain relief gas in Iran.
